There are no grout lines or seams to catch dirt, it takes carts and constant foot traffic, and it cleans with an auto-scrubber. Flake hides wear on the sales floor; metallic makes a showroom floor part of the display.
VCT needs stripping and waxing. Vinyl plank scratches and its seams lift in the busiest lanes. Tile chips and holds dirt in the grout. Install & Downtime
Most floors take foot traffic in about 4 hours and fixtures in about 24. Larger stores are done section by section, so you aren't closed all at once. We set the schedule with you at the estimate.
Usually the old floor comes up first. A coating is only as strong as what it's bonded to, and tile and VCT move and release. We check it at the estimate and price the removal as its own line.
We diamond-grind the concrete to a CSP 2-3 profile, repair cracks and broken joint edges, and test the slab for moisture. If the reading is high, a moisture-mitigation primer goes down first. Every layer above depends on that prep.
Care & Warranty
Dust-mop daily and run an auto-scrubber or mop with a neutral cleaner. No waxing, stripping or sealing.
It covers the installed system: bond failure, peeling and delamination, which are the things prep decides. It doesn't cover impact gouges, chemicals left standing, or damage from work done on the floor after install. It runs 25 years and transfers with the building.
A smooth, glossy floor can be. Flake adds texture, and we add anti-slip aggregate to the topcoat at entrances and anywhere the floor gets wet.
